I had been meaning to try the East Village's Numero 28 Pizzeria for months now, so when a new location opened up on the Upper East Side I knew I had no more excuses. The pizza is the main attraction at Numero 28, despite having many delicious sounding pastas and salads on the menu. I love that you can order multiple types of pizza per pizza pie. It's brilliant and great for groups with varying preferences.
I ended up ordering the Pere (pears, gorgonzola, walnuts & mozzarella) on my half of the 18" pizza, while my boyfriend ordered the Rustica (tomato sauce, sausage & peppers).

Branding: Magic Hat
Happy Friday!
While the boys were watching hockey playoffs, I took to capturing our multi-pack of Magic Hat beer. I love how each of the bottles has its own distinct style that represents each brew perfectly. I have certainly been on the lookout for well-branded alcohol lately...

Food: Sushi at Bluefin
One of the best kept secrets in Cambridge is the Porter Exchange. Hidden inside Lesley University is a group of no-frills authentic Japanese restaurants. One of my favourites is Bluefin, a sushi restaurant with an extensive menu and a wide variety of very fresh fish. Following lunch, I always make an effort to stop by Japonaise Bakery for homemade mochi. They often carry flavours that you very rarely see like cherry with a dark chocolate centre.
